Short biography

Philipp Schrögel works and researches at the Käte Hamburger Centre for Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic Studies at Heidelberg University as a research coordinator and in science communication. In addition, he works as a freelance science communicator. In both fields, his focus is on creative and participatory approaches, whether science slams, comics or science street art. Previously, he conducted research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) on forms of presentation in science communication and their reception by the audience and exclusion and unreached populations in science communication. He holds a diploma in physics from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University.
