Short biography
In 2017, Benedikt received his PhD from UdK Berlin on the premises of open provision and reuse of research data in academic research. He was involved in the development of a research data repository as a research infrastructure staff member at DIW Berlin, and as a research assistant in the lead project "Open Science" at HIIG from 2012 - 2017. In 2016, he was a scientific officer for the topics of Open Access, research data and libraries at the Leibniz Association and a DARIAH-DE Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. Since 2019, Benedikt has been a member of the interdisciplinary working group "Implications of digitization for the quality of science communication" at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and since 2020 of the expert advisory board #factorywisskomm of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
