Short biography

I am a European Ethnologist and Digital Humanist from the Georg-August University of Göttingen. I worked in the field of digital preservation because I am interested in digital and electronically storable data that results from a research project. I worked for the project bwFLA (EaaS) at the kiz, University of Ulm where we dealt with curation issues. I was working for the INF project in the Collaborative Research Center SFB 1187, "Media of Cooperation" before moving to Hildesheim in order to build up services for Research Data Management at the SUH, Hildesheim University, based at the University's Library there. Research Data Management is seen as part of the research process. RDM aims to make the research process as efficient as possible, and meet expectations and requirements of the university, research funders, and legislation.
